This succulent earthy flavored mushroom is not only delicious but also exotic looking. Long and slender, they are light tan in color with a porous texture. Popular for medicinal purposes the Bamboo Mushroom has been used to lower blood pressure, reduce weight and increase life expectancy.

To reconstitute, place desired amount into a bowl covered with boiling water and let soak for 15-20 minutes and rinse well. Or, rinse and add directly to recipe that will cook for at least 25 minutes. One ounce dry reconstitutes to 3-4 ounces.
