Description:

Coconuts are the seed of the Coconut Palm, a tree that can yield thousands of Coconuts over it's approximate 70 year lifespan.  Coconuts consist of several layers, a smooth, deep tan outer covering; a firm, dark brown and hairy husk; a thin brown skin; the creamy white Coconut meat; and in the center the rich tasting Coconut juice.  The creamy white flesh of the Coconut when shredded may be added to cakes, muffins, cookies, pies and even meat dishes.  Our Macaroon Coconut is finely shredded into small flakes and is unsweetened and considered a raw product.  Use Macaroon Coconut to make coconut Candy centers, Macaroon cookies, candies, and a variety of baked goods.
