BAMBOO RICE

Description:

Bamboo rice is a short grain white rice infused with fresh bamboo juice. When cooked, it is pale green and tends to be quite moist causing the grains to stick together. Colorful in Sushi and delicious with seafood, fish and chicken dishes. For added flavor, cook Bamboo Rice in your favorite stock or substitute green tea for the water.

Suggested Use:
Bamboo Rice can be used in any recipe calling for a moist and sticky rice. A colorfulalternative for sushi.  Delicious and attractive in rice pudding with coconut and cherry compote or try it in a rice pilaf with your favorite fruit and nuts.  Appetizing in spring rolls or molded with papaya and mango salsa.
